Gravel trail with very small upward grade toward the Pennsylvania line. Has mile markers on the on the trail. The trail follows a river, making for very pleasant vistas at some points.
The NCR trail is my solace. Calm and shady and picturesque. It's flat and a great place to walk or ride a bike. It follows along the Gunpowder.
Worst place ever that we have visited so far. There's no CCTV cameras in the parking lot and no street lights too. This is helping thieves and burglars to snatch the items from people and their car who visit this place
Great bike trail..... but head up into pa. sometimes too. New freedom, glen rock, up to York is worth the ride!
Shine or rain, this place is best situated to run or do some fun group sporting activities. The trail has mile indicators, that means always in control of the distance you have gone. There are drinking spots where you can leave drinks in advance so that runners hydrate. There are also rest rooms along tye trail (though not sure how far they are separated. Scenery is beautiful , full of plants and green lifes. Parking lot is well structured and enough to accommodate arround 100 cars at a time.
